BLUE RIDGE Wintergreen Virginia Topographic Watercolor Map: PRINT

Virginia's BLUE RIDGE Appalachian Mountains.
From a high peak in these ancient ridges, the blues and greens reveal themselves as the ridges appear to collide and recede into the distance. This view inspires the colors of the map. The map centers on Wintergreen Resort, with Sherando Lake to the west, the town of Love in the southwest, town of Wintergreen in the southeast and Humpback Rocks in the northeast. The Blue Ridge Parkway winds its way through the area, roughly paralleled by the Appalachian Trail in dotted line, from the southwest to northwest. The area is immediately south of Afton, Virginia, and one of the prettiest!
This is a PRINT of my original watercolor painting, in a gradation of tones, from green at the higher elevation (Wintergreen Resort) to blues at the lower elevations. Generally - not exact! : )

8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" are the best print sizes to purchase if you'd like to find a frame "off the shelf" instead of custom framing. Prints have a border so no mat is required - just pop it in the frame of the same size and hang!
If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square and I will make it square! If my print widths available in menu do not match your preference, send me a note with an alternate size. I can print from 5" x 5" to 17" x 17" - Thanks!
