Home of the Greek gods, Mount Olympus appears as a mystical world above the human plain. This view of its high peaks, in their variety of landscape and mingling with the clouds, is otherworldly.

The MOUNTAINS Collection, and this piece, is an exploration of brush + line, using the metaphorical form of MOUNTAIN to see how the marks of paintbrush and pen or pencil, with their contrasting textures, can work together to model the tactile surfaces of land.

The sunset casts warm beams and spotlights over these lofty peaks and shadows in shades of grey, with sharp fields of fine ink lines accentuating the rocky crevices.
