I love the complexity and density of historic cities! It's fascinating to roam with your eye over the streets of our Nation's Capital, abstracted into a figure/ground, or block, plan. Your Watercolor City Plan of Washington DC is created to accentuate the iconic shape of the District boundaries. The blocks in Rosslyn VA, Silver Spring and Takoma Park MD that fall outside the District bounds will be rendered in lighter tones than those within the bounds.
