I love the complexity and density of historic cities! It's fascinating to roam with your eye over the streets of our Nation's Capital, abstracted into a figure/ground, or block, plan. The map area includes Central Park, south of the Reservoir, The street grid includes two blocks west of the Park, just shy of 10th Avenue, and all the way west to the edge of Roosevelt Island and the East River. The southern edge of the map extends about two block south of the Park, almost to 57th Avenue.
