I love the complexity and density of historic cities! It's fascinating to roam with your eye over the neighborhoods of Seattle, abstracted into a figure/ground, or block, plan. The way all the different grids reconcile themselves to each other and to the coastline and all the bodies of water that carve around and through the city. This map includes Seattle between Elliott Bay and Lake Washington, bounded by the southern tip of Green Lake on the north and on the south, West Seattle golf course and Beacon Hill.
