I love the complexity and density of historic cities! It's fascinating to roam with your eye over the boroughs of London, abstracted into a figure/ground, or block, plan. The way all the different blocks fit together like a puzzle, the medieval, classical and the picturesque.

This map includes central London from Regent's Park and Islington on the north to Battersea Park and Peckham on the south. Hyde Park, Westminster, Southwark, Paddington, Marylebone, Soho and City of London, among other neighborhoods, are included within the map area.
