Fells Point is a must-be place - when you're in Baltimore, you must take some time in Fells Point. It's on the water, has great shops and dining, plus the iconic Broadway Market. It sure has changed a lot on the surface from when my high school friends and I would go there for some city excitement - but it's stayed the same in all the best ways. A great place to stroll and people-watch on the plaza with the pigeons - it's almost always lively. Stand on the long pier and scan the skyline of Baltimore's twentieth-century industrial shore across the harbor, from Baltimore's nineteenth century industrial shore under your feet.
This Print includes my hand-drawn streetscape along Thames Street, facing the harbor, set against an 1887 vintage map of Baltimore I've watercolored, highlighting Fells Point.
